The word Pratyahara literally means withdrawal of senses. All the meditative tools like Antar Mauna, Ajapa Jap, Mantra chanting, Yog Nidra form part of Pratyahara practices. The first Pratyahara is Body stillness or Kayashtyaram. Pratyahara induces calmness, peace and steadiness in our being.
